Overview

AnimBox is browser-based 3D software for modeling, UV editing, texture painting, rigging, and retargeting. AnimBox is free and supported by advertising; subscribers, donors, and bug-bounty contributors get an ad-free experience. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data, and we explain below what we collect, what we don't, and how advertising works.

Data We Collect

• Google Authentication: If you log in with Google, we receive your email address to create your account and unlock ad-free features for subscribers. We do not store any additional Google profile information.
• Subscription Data: Subscription status and billing are handled by Stripe. We store only the information required to link your account to your subscription (customer ID, subscription status). Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Session Data: We use a secure httpOnly cookie to remember your login status. This cookie expires after 7 days.
• 3D Files: All 3D files you import are processed entirely in your browser. We do not upload or store your files on any server.
• Advertising Data: We show ads via Google AdSense to keep AnimBox free. Google and its advertising partners use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve, personalize, and measure ads. See the Advertising & Cookies section below for details and your choices.

What We Don't Store

• We don't store your 3D models or files
• We don't store payment card details (handled by Stripe)

Advertising & Cookies

AnimBox is free and supported by advertising. We display ads in the editor through Google AdSense. Subscribers, donors, and contributors who earn ad-free credits through our bug-bounty program see no ads.

• Ad cookies & identifiers: Google and its advertising partners use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve and measure ads and to limit how often you see a given ad. This may include information about your visits to this and other websites.
• Personalized ads: Where permitted, Google may show personalized (interest-based) ads. You can review and control ad personalization in Google Ad Center.
• EEA, UK & Switzerland consent: If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we use Google's IAB-certified consent management platform (Privacy & messaging / Funding Choices) to ask for your consent before personalized ads or non-essential advertising cookies are used. No personalized advertising cookies are set until you make a choice, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the privacy/consent control made available on the page.
• Opting out of personalized ads: You can opt out of Google ad personalization in Google Ad Center, and out of third-party vendor personalized advertising at aboutads.info (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU). You may still see non-personalized ads.
• U.S. state privacy — "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information": Some uses of advertising cookies may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar U.S. state laws. If you are a California resident (or in another U.S. state with comparable rights), you can opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information for personalized advertising using the controls above, or by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser.

Third-Party Services

• Google: Used for authentication (Sign in with Google). See Google's Privacy Policy.

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Settings > Account > Manage Billing inside AnimBox, which opens your Stripe billing portal.
