1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AnimBox, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Description of Service

AnimBox is free, browser-based 3D software for modeling, rigging, and retargeting. All processing happens locally in your browser.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the 3D content you create or import
• Don't use AnimBox for illegal purposes
• Don't attempt to hack or disrupt the service

4. Intellectual Property

• You retain all rights to your 3D models and creations
• AnimBox and its code are the property of its creators

5. AnimBox Assets & AI Training Restrictions

Certain assets provided by AnimBox, including but not limited to animation retargeting cycles, motion data, and bundled content, are owned by AnimBox.

• AI Training Prohibition: You may NOT use any AnimBox-owned assets (including animation cycles, motion data, or any bundled content) to train, fine-tune, or develop artificial intelligence, machine learning models, or any derivative AI systems.
• This restriction applies regardless of whether the use is commercial or non-commercial.
• Violation of this restriction will result in immediate termination of your license to use AnimBox.

6. Commercial Use & Animation Licensing

AnimBox is free for everyone - hobbyists, indie developers, and enterprises alike.

• Free for All: All AnimBox features (modeling, rigging, retargeting) are free to use for personal and commercial projects.
• Animation Assets - Enterprise License: If you are an enterprise (large studio, AAA game company, or major production) and want to use AnimBox-provided animation clips or retargeting cycles in your commercial productions, you must obtain an enterprise license.
• Indie Developers: Independent developers and small studios can use all AnimBox features and animation assets freely.
• To request an enterprise license, contact us via our Discord community.

7. Advertising & Subscription Benefits

AnimBox is free and supported by advertising. We display ads in the editor through Google AdSense. By using AnimBox you agree that ads may be shown to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

An ad-free experience is available to AnimBox subscribers, donors, and contributors who earn ad-free credits through our bug-bounty program. AnimBox subscribers (via Stripe) get an ad-free experience for the duration of their active subscription. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled at any time via Settings > Account > Manage Billing, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Benefits are provided as-is and may change.

8. Disclaimer

AnimBox is provided "as is" without warranty. We're not responsible for any data loss or issues arising from use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
